Added to the casino in 1927, the Casino Ballroom continually draws some of the top names in entertainment. In order to sustain its reputation as one of the best venues in which to play and hear live music, the 2,200-seat ballroom received a major redesign of its audio and lighting systems, including the addition of a new loudspeaker system based on Meyer Sound's MICA compact high-power curvilinear array loudspeaker. In 2014, this iconic 550-seat theater at 13 Wallis Street in downtown Beverly needed a new (actually, a new and finally permanent) audio system. John Coretto headed up a team that designed and installed a top-of-the-line audio system that continues to rock the house. Here’s the gear:
WHB Concert and Production Services designed the system and donated their time and funds for the construction of the outdoor stage that the town was building.
